2009 Uncork The Cure
As a result of another fabulous event, we presented Dr. Tebbi and the Children's Cancer Research Group a check in the amount of $25,000 this year. AWESOME!
The Krewe of Zingaro is proud to be able to continue to support the Pediatric Cancer Research conducted in Dr. Tebbi's lab at St. Joseph's Children's Hospital.
Our guests (250+) had a wonderful time and enjoyed the food, silent auction items, drawings created by the children and great views from the Tampa club. Thank you to everyone for your support.
2008 Uncork The Cure
The Krewe of Zingaro presented a check in the amount of $30,163.68 to Dr. Tebbi in support of the Pediatric Cancer Research conducted in his lab at St. Joseph's Children's Hospital.
Our guests (300+) had a wonderful time and enjoyed the food and location. Everyone bid generously on the silent auction items. As most of you already know it was a tremendous event and reflected the generosity of our members!
Some wonderful things to note: Our cash sponsorships totaled $17,000. Donations from Krewe members amounted to 46% of that figure. Participation by Krewe members was phenomenal, ranging from cash sponsorships, to donating silent auctions items, selling & purchasing tickets, and bidding up the silent auction items. The support of our Krewe members was truly inspiring.
Also inspiring was the work of the Zvent Committee and I would like to thank them for their enduring efforts, and of course invite you to participate again next year as we continue to grow this benefit.

2008Chili Cookoff
March 30, 2008 - Be proud to be a Gypsy! The Krewe of Zingaro won 1st Place in the 21st Annual Steve Otto Chili Cookoff in Channelside. We competed against 45 other teams, and beat them all. This accomplishment comes with a Trophy and a check for $1,000.

The Gypsies have done it again!
The Krewe of Zingaro's 3rd Annual Uncork the Cure Wine Tasting and Silent Auction raised more than $60,000 for the Pediatric Cancer Research Lab at St. Joseph's Hospital.
$60,000 - Oh My!!!!!!!
In the words of our President, Mike Vazmina, "Can you even imagine that in just 3 years we have raised more than $100,000? And they say we are a small Krewe, maybe small, but we have real big hearts."
